Venue & Drinks: The Peak at Edison

The Peak at Edison is a contemporary, industrial event venue established in 2020, on the eastern side of Columbus, OH, in Gahanna. It is on the top floor of the event space, with sweeping views across the greater Columbus region. The Columbus city skyline can be seen along the western horizon. Due to the close proximity to the John Glenn Columbus International Airport, airplanes will fly directly overhead, adding some intrigue to the venue. The wedding Reception will occur on the rooftop patio of this event space, with indoor areas and a large wrap-around balcony with accordion doors. There is a large parking lot, elevator access, and modernized bathrooms.
The other notable feature of this venue is the Edison Brewery (https://www.drinkedison.com/). The Edison Brewery has an extensive list of drinks, a stage for entertainment, local food trucks, and a large beer garden. The wedding Ceremony will be held in the beer garden space.

Her creations have graced the pages of Brides Magazine, Modern Bride Magazine, the Knot, Grace Ormond’s Weddings, In Style Magazine, Victoria Magazine, Columbus Weddings, just to name a few, and was recognized one of the Best Cake Designers in North America by Dessert Professionals. When she appeared on TLC’s Ultimate Cake-off, Jan won the Best Tasting Wedding Cake. Please read all about her incredible accomplishments on her website.
Not only will Jan be baking our cake, but she will also be sabering a bottle of champagne during the event! Sabering is the French tradition of removing the cork from a bottle of champagne. This ritual dates back to Napoleon when his soldiers used the reverse edge of their saber to break the neck of the bottle open.
