To ensure the safety of all of our friends and family during our wedding celebration, we have implemented several COVID-19 safety policies for this event that all guests will need to comply with in order to attend. We are not intending to make your attendance more challenging. We simply wish to have a good time and prevent any post-event infections. The policies on this page were informed by evidence-based research and clinical practice, and the expertise of healthcare professionals. This page will be updated should any changes in public health or available prevention measures occur. Please read the below policies carefully and reach out to Sarah or Eugene if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!
Vaccination Policy
All guests should be up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccines per the CDC: see guidelines/recommendations and infographic for more information and clarification. Please let us know if you have any questions/concerns about this. We encourage all guests to get as far along as possible in the vaccine series. This is to ensure that all guests are protected from serious illness against COVID-19 and to decrease the likelihood of spreading the virus. Documentation is no longer required, but we ask that you answer honestly on the RSVP and help us keep our event sage.
Testing Policy
While we are NOT requiring it, we recommend that all guests if possible take a rapid antigen test (usually results in 15-30 minutes) or a PCR test within a few days of the wedding (Sunday morning, Saturday, or Friday). This would help to ensure that even vaccinated guests are not contagious and spreading the virus during/after travel and during the event.
Masking Policy
Masks will NOT be required to attend this wedding, as the venue was chosen specifically for it’s open-air features. However, you are more than welcome to still wear one. Masks will be available at the venue. You are welcome to wear or not wear a mask, whichever is most comfortable for you, without judgement. Please remember to cover your coughs and sneezes, and wash your hands frequently! Hand sanitizer will also be available at the venue for easy use.
Feeling Sick
If you are feeling sick (e.g., cold/flu symptoms, sneezing, coughing, fever, etc.), please DO NOT ATTEND!
We will miss you terribly! But we don’t want you to feel bad or get our other friends and family sick. We will gladly send you a care package of goodies after the event, and a live-stream of the ceremony will be available for those who are unable to attend. You will also still be able to view photos of the event on this website and the shared drive set up for guests to upload media of the wedding. We know how much it sucks to miss a special event, but we appreciate you so so much for choosing to keep everyone safe. We promise that we completely understand if you can’t come, just let us know ASAP! (Sarah: 610-737-4187, Eugene: 386-235-6674)
We still love you ❤
