Marriott TownePlace Suites is located near several major roads and within a large shopping and dining district in Columbus – Eastown Town Center. Easton Town Center has ample dining options at multiple price points, and many stores. This is a great area to get your nails, hair, or any other needs taken care of. There are also several grocery stores (Target, Whole Foods, Costco, Trader Joes, Kroger, Aldi) should you wish to pick up any provisions. The hotel and venue are near many other hotels as well if you choose to stay elsewhere. Please see the “About CBus” section of the website for more recommendations on places to visit while you are in town!
Travel

Driving: Columbus is in the center of Ohio and is crossed by several major roads including I70 (from east to west) and I71 (from north to south). Driving time from Philadelphia is about 8 hours, from Pittsburgh is about 3.5 hours, and from Chicago is about 5.5 hours. There are ample rest stops and gas stations throughout Ohio, just watch for pot holes!
Flying: Columbus has the John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), which is only 10-15 minutes by car from the venue and the hotel. It typically boasts direct flights to/from Florida, Chicago, and the DC area. Car rental is available at CMH. Rickenbacker is a smaller airport 30 minutes south of the city with direct and affordable flights to more specific destinations.
Getting around the city: Columbus is a very easy city to navigate, especially by car. If you are able, driving your own car/rental car is the way to go and get around very easily (it’s Ohio so lots of suburbs and easy highways). There are also rideshare apps, including Uber and Lyft, which are fairly reasonable and timely. The COTA bus system is rather good, but performs better closer to the downtown area.
Transportation from the venue after the event: We want our guests to be safe and happy during our event! As such, we will have rideshare vouchers available for those who are unable or do not wish to drive from the venue to the hotel after the event, just let us know! For those staying in the hotel, there will also be a limited shuttle service available. More information will be provided closer to the event date.
